ArtMuse tours are led by Natasha Schlesinger, an independent art historian and art consultant and mother to three children, who has been working in the art field for the past 20 years, specializing in the history of decorative arts. Natasha was a specialist in European furniture at Christie's Auction House and then went on to open her own international firm Meridianne LLC. She has lectured both at Christie's and Sotheby's and is a co-founder of ArtXplorers, and art series for kids which she is co-producing with Mindy Mervis. Natasha holds a Master's degree in the Decorative Arts from the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Culture and Design. She has a also taught a graduate course at the Cooper-Hewitt Master's Program.

* In 2005 Natasha Schlesinger received the prestigious 25th Anniversary Future Women Leadership Award that was given to her by ARTTABLE, a national nonprofit membership organization for professional women in leadership positions in the visual arts. The organization serves the arts community and the public by the exchange of ideas and information through its educational development, mentoring, and networking programs.
